Tree Removal Atlanta
Although we believe in preserving trees, there are occasions when a tree needs to be removed due to disease, death or new construction. However, there is a "right way" to remove a tree. Our first priority is safety to your property. We usually cut a tree down limb by limb to avoid using heavy equipment like cherry pickers and cranes on your property. This avoids damaging your lawn and disturbing the area around the tree being removed. Our second priority is clean up. You'll wonder if we were ever there!
Stump Grinding
Some stumps do not need to be removed, such as those in a wooded backyard. However, sometimes stumps are removed for aesthetic reasons. In these cases, we bring in a machine to grind down the stump 8"-10" below grade (ground level). If you're going to plant another tree in the same hole, we'll bring it down to about 24". The cost of stump grinding depends on how far down we grind the stump, the size of it, if we are "root chasing" (removing all the roots) and if we will need to haul away the mulch that is generated from the grinding.
